Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the iOS app BitacuDrone, published by Quantum Quacks (hereinafter "we", "us" or "our").

2. Summary: BitacuDrone does not collect personal data

BitacuDrone is a local logbook for FPV drone pilots. We do not collect, transmit or store personal data on our own servers or on any third-party servers. There are no user accounts, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. Everything the app saves resides solely on your device and, if you turn it on, in your own iCloud.

3. Data stored on your device

BitacuDrone stores the following information exclusively on your device:

• Your drone fleet: names, models, photos, technical specifications (frame, motors, FC, VTX, etc.), status and notes.
• Flight log: date, duration, location (optional, entered manually), notes and battery used.
• Maintenance: pending tasks, repair history and issues.
• Batteries and transmitters: charge cycles, capacity, health status, photos.
• Preferences: language, dark mode and display options.

This data is stored in JSON format inside the app's sandbox. It never leaves your device unless you explicitly turn on iCloud sync.

4. iCloud sync (optional)

If you are signed in to iCloud, BitacuDrone can sync your logbook across your devices through your personal iCloud Drive account. This data resides in your own iCloud storage under Apple's control; we have no access to it and do not receive it. You can turn off sync at any time in iOS Settings.

5. System permissions

BitacuDrone requests the following permission only when it needs it for a specific feature:

• Photo library: to select photos of your drones, batteries and transmitters from your gallery and add them to the app. Images are saved locally and, if you turn on iCloud, in your own iCloud storage.

6. In-app purchases

BitacuDrone is a freemium app. You can use it for free up to a limit of items (up to 5 drones, 10 batteries and 2 transmitters); items beyond that limit remain visible but become read-only. BitacuDrone Pro removes those limits through an in-app purchase processed by Apple via StoreKit, available in three options:

• Monthly (€2.99/month, auto-renewable subscription, with a 3-day free trial).
• Annual (€19.99/year, auto-renewable subscription).
• Lifetime (€29.99, one-time non-consumable purchase).

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel them at least 24 hours before the end of the period; you can manage or cancel them at any time in your Apple ID settings. Apple handles payment and renewal: we receive no information about your payment method, your Apple account or any associated personal data, only confirmation that the purchase is active. You can restore your purchases at any time from within the app.

7. Third-party services and analytics

BitacuDrone includes no third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising or tracking. We do not use Firebase, Google Analytics, the Facebook SDK or similar services. We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA), and the app sends no data to attribution networks.

8. Children

BitacuDrone is not specifically directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children. Because all information is stored locally, we receive no user data at all.

9. Your rights

Because BitacuDrone collects no personal data on our servers, we hold no information that we could provide, rectify or erase on request. You can delete all data at any time by uninstalling the app and, if you used iCloud sync, also deleting its data from iCloud Drive in iOS Settings.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
