About the B Licence
The B driving licence is the most common in Spain. It lets you drive:
- Cars up to 3,500 kg maximum authorised mass and a maximum of 9 seats (driver included)
- Minimum age: 18 years
- The theory exam has 30 questions, with a maximum of 3 mistakes
- Time allowed: 30 minutes
Note: The B licence also covers light trailers (up to 750 kg). After 3 years with the B licence, you can ride motorcycles up to 125 cc within Spain.
