This Privacy Policy applies to the iOS app SweepSheep, published by Quantum Quacks (hereinafter, "we" or "our").

2. Summary: SweepSheep does not collect personal data

SweepSheep is a photo cleaning app that helps you organize and declutter your photo library by swiping through your photos. We do not collect, transmit, or store personal data on our own servers or on any third-party servers. There are no user accounts, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. All data the app stores resides exclusively on your device.

3. Photo Library Access

SweepSheep requires access to your photo library to function. The app uses this access to:

  • Display your photos so you can decide which ones to keep or delete.
  • Move photos you choose to discard to the "Recently Deleted" album in iOS (where they can be recovered for 30 days).

Your photos are never uploaded, shared, or transmitted outside your device. All operations are performed locally using Apple's PhotoKit framework.

4. Data stored locally

SweepSheep stores the following information exclusively on your device:

  • Progress and streaks: your cleaning progress, streaks, and goals.
  • Preferences: app settings stored in UserDefaults.
  • Subscription status: your in-app purchase status, managed by StoreKit and Apple (see section 5).

You can delete all this data by uninstalling the app.

5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

SweepSheep offers optional in-app purchases (a monthly subscription and a lifetime unlock) to access Pro features. These purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit framework.

We do not receive, process, or store any payment information (credit card numbers, billing addresses, etc.). All billing is handled by Apple. For details on how Apple processes your purchase data, see Apple's Privacy Policy.

6. Internet Connection

SweepSheep can function without an internet connection. When a connection is available, the app communicates only with the following Apple services:

  • App Store / StoreKit: to verify and manage in-app purchase status.

No personal data, user identifiers, or device information is sent to our own servers or to any third-party servers other than Apple.

7. Third-Party Services

SweepSheep only uses Apple's own frameworks (PhotoKit, StoreKit). We do not integrate:

  • Analytics tools (Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.).
  • Advertising networks.
  • Tracking or attribution SDKs.
  • Third-party crash reporting services.

Apple may collect aggregated usage and diagnostic data through the operating system if you have enabled that option in your iOS settings. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

8. Children

SweepSheep is not specifically directed at children under 13. Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no risk of processing children's data.

9. Your Rights

Since we do not process personal data on our own servers, there is no personal information of yours that we can provide, rectify, or delete. All data is on your device and can be removed at any time by uninstalling the app.

We may update this policy to reflect legal or technical changes. We will publish the current version at this URL and update the "Last updated" date accordingly.
